Thought for the morning of Sun June 2, 2013 (Devotional)

Verse “For the flesh lusteth against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh.” - ga 5:17 Thought In every believer’s heart there is a constant struggle between the old nature and the new. The old nature is very active, and loses no opportunity of plying all the weapons of its deadly armoury against newborn grace; while on the other hand, the new nature is ever on the watch to resist and destroy its enemy. Grace within us will employ prayer, and faith, and hope, and love, to cast out the evil; it takes unto it the “whole armour of God,” and wrestles earnestly. These two opposing natures will never cease to struggle so long as we are in this world. The battle of “Christian” with “Apollyon” lasted three hours, but the battle of Christian with himself lasted all the way from the Wicket Gate in the river Jordan. The enemy is so securely entrenched within us that he can never be driven out while we are in this body: but although we are closely beset, and often in sore conflict, we have an Almighty helper, even Jesus, the Captain of our salvation, who is ever with us, and who assures us that we shall eventually come off more than conquerors through him. With such assistance the new-born nature is more than a match for its foes. Are you fighting with the adversary to-day Are Satan, the world, and the flesh, all against you Be not discouraged nor dismayed. Fight on! For God himself is with you; Jehovah Nissi is your banner, and Jehovah Rophi is the healer of your wounds. Fear not, you shall overcome, for who can defeat Omnipotence Fight on, “looking unto Jesus”; and though long and stern be the conflict, sweet will be the victory, and glorious the promised reward. “From strength to strength go on; Wrestle, and fight, and pray, Tread all the powers of darkness down, And win the well-fought day.” Devotional provided by Heartlight ,reg; ,copy; 1996-2013. Mali is a beast Thank God

So proud of my man @malimalimusic. The new video, The Job Experience is crazy and best of all..its different and its real life. He did his own thing, nah mean. I know some people are confused about why he would sign to Akon. I dont know the actual answer but I know Mali is aggressive with the message of the gospel which he delivers through music. He is annointed to step into the territory he is walking in. Best thing to do is to pray for him and God’s will to come forth. I personally think he right where God wants him to be. Ive been talking to his stylist Rae lately and they are preparing for what they know is about to come Mali’s way. His team and people around him esteem and honor him on level that implies an abundance of integrity in his lifestyle. I believe homie (and Lecrae) are about to take a giants head off. I’ll leave it at that.

A Bird of Prey Reborn - Marcus To on Huntress #1

acmecomics:

The Huntress, be it Earth 2’s Helena Wayne or modern continuity’s Helena Bertinelli, has been one of the leading female characters of DC Comics since her debut in the late 1970s. And while not as well known as Catwoman, she remains a major wild card in the world of Batman comics and has been a reliable ally of Black Canary and her Birds of Prey. As part of the DC Comics Relaunch Initiative, the Huntress will be presented to a whole new audience via a six part mini series written by the legendary Paul Levitz with art by the awesome Marcus To! Acme Comics customer Erica Simon caught up with Marcus recently and got his thoughts on the Huntress and the type of art we can expect to see!
